Rules & Regulations
Personal ATVs and golf carts are not permitted on the Stampede Grounds, including all campgrounds.
Why this policy is in place:
Liability & Safety – Reducing risks for all attendees.
Security – Maintaining a safe and controlled environment.
Town Regulations – The Ponoka Stampede is held within the Town of Ponoka.
Underage Misuse – Preventing unauthorized and unsafe operation.
Overcrowding – Too many ATVs create hazards and congestion.
Event Consistency – These vehicles are not allowed at other major events.

Camping Move in to begin June 20th 2026
This year’s rodeo features not one but two major camping expansions:
- 98-acres just south of the Calnash Trucking Ag Event Centre, which will handle overflow camping and parking
- 15-acres just east of the VIP Wild West Campground
